One year in office: Gov. Eno reiterates commitment to device delivery
Gov. Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom, has reiterated his administration’s commitment to embark on projects that will trigger sustainable developments in the state.
Eno made statement in Uyo on Tuesday at a media briefing to mark his administration’s one year in office.
He said that his administration had worked within its campaign promised and the ARISE Agenda.
“I can say that in the last one year, I have served Akwa Ibom with the integrity of my heart. Our mission is to serve our people,” he said.
The governor said that his administration would continue to liaise with security agencies to tackle security challenges in the state.
He described law and order as crucial to development and delivery of governance, adding, ‘”we shall not allow small group of individuals to terrorise our state”
“We shall fish out all those involved in the recent incidents of kidnapping, armed robbery and other forms of crimes in the state,” he said.
Eno urged parents to play major roles in the upbringing of their children by instilling discipline in them
He urged residents of the state to support security agencies with useful information to fight crime.
“We are stakeholders in the project of building a decent society, community leaders should expose criminals in their domains.
“We are taking the fight to the creeks and every corner of the state. There will be no hiding place for criminals,” he said. (NAN)
