Okoye, the General Overseer, All Christians Fellowship Mission, made the call while speaking to newsmen at the ssidelines of the National Convention of the church in Abuja on Wednesday.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the theme of the 5-day National Convention is “Way Maker”.
Okoye advised Nigerians who are canvassing with foreigners to destroy the country to desist from such, adding that Nigeria will be great again.
According to him, it is important to maintain a strong relationship with God as a means of overcoming discouragement because it can guide and inspire believers to navigate through life’s difficulties.
He expressed worry about the failure of past leaders, while criticising their role in perpetuating the nation’s struggles through greed and corruption.
“The youth today are faced with numerous obstacles, including economic instability, political corruption, and societal injustices.
“Many feel disheartened, especially when witnessing the failures of leadership that have led to widespread suffering.
“However, it is crucial to remember that these challenges do not define our future,” he said.
On the Church’s Convention, the cleric noted that it would serve as a pivotal moment for members to come together in prayer and reflection.
“The convention aims at inspiring faith and prayer as tools for national revival, and asserting that God’s power can make a way even when circumstances seem dire.
“By looking to God, the youth can find strength and hope.
“The belief that what is impossible with men is possible with God serves as a powerful reminder that divine intervention can change circumstances.
“Nigerians should cultivate their relationship with God. They will receive guidance on their paths,” he said.
Okoye said that, through determination and a strong spiritual foundation, Nigerians can navigate the complexities of the current landscape and work towards a brighter future.
He expressed hope that divine intervention would lead to significant change, and urged the convention’s participants to pray for a transformative shift in the nation’s fortunes.(NAN)
