The Nigerian Police Force has refuted the story in the British news media that the suspected leader of the Al-Shabbab terrorist squad that hit the Westgate shopping mall in Kenya, the Samantha Lewthwaite a.k.a the White Widow transited through Nigeria on her way to Kenya.
Commenting on the story, Deputy Force P.R.O. CSP Frank Mba, stated that the Nigerian Police cannot react the story because the news story is vague and did not state the date, time and location the White Widow was in Nigeria during her purported stay in Nigeria.
Mba’s refutal comes on the back of a story published in the popular British newspaper, The Daily Mirror which said that Samantha Lewthwaite, the White Widow transited successfully through Nigeria after bribing the Nigerian Police.
