The Local Organizing Committee (LOC) of the Nigerian-German Investment and Cultural Expo (NGICE 2026) in Berlin has partnered with Catholic Television of Nigeria (CTV) to promote the expo activities to the global community.
Amb. Chielo Ojirika, the Coordinator of NGICE 2026 and Nigerian Cultural Ambassador to Germany, said this at the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two organizations in Abuja.
Ojirika said the local organizing committee of the NGICE 2026, chaired by the former Inspector General of Police (IGP), Sir Mike Okiro, said the NGICE LOC partnered with CTV to serve as its official media partner.
According to him, the expo is aimed at showcasing the rich potential of Nigeria as well as our cultural heritage to the world, using Germany as a window of showcase.
“The Catholic Television of Nigeria is widely known as media organization that has the strength to promote peaceful coexistence globally.
“And as part of the component of the programme in Germany, we have the global peace, advocacy, and promotion of the event activities.
“Based on your activities and background, we are glad to collaborate with you and officially inform you that you are our official media partner. So, that is the essence of this MOU signing,” he said.
Ojirika, who is also known as Chiboy D’Black Courage, added that the partnership would ensure all the media activities of the event would be handled by CTV to promote it to the global community.
In his remarks, Rev. Fr. Patrick Alumuku, Executive Managing Director of the CTV, said the CTV would use all its strength of viewership to promote the expo activities to the world.

Rev. Fr. Victor Makinwa Ogunyemu, Deputy Managing Director Administration, CTV, said “even before now that this MOU signing is a win-win for the two of us, for Salute Nigeria Initiative and for CTV.
“CTV will use all our strength of viewership to promote this event to the world and the world is going to know about this initiative, the Nigerian German-Investment and Cultural Expo.
“So, we are very grateful and excited to have Sir Mike Okiro IGP Rtd. with us, and of course it’s one of our benefactors and a great one at CTV. He has always been our supporter and pillar of support.”
Also speaking, Okiro said the NGICE LOC was very proud of Catholic Television of Nigeria in promoting the unity of Nigeria to the world.
According to him, the Nigerian-German Investment and Cultural Expo aims to showcase Nigeria to the world and we are happy that CTV has a global outlook and global reception.
“We proud that you are going to support us to do what you do for Nigeria and give this Expo a global appeal so thank you for collaborating with us,” he said. (NAN)
