Gov. Mutfwang seeks collaboration to revamp Plateau’s meat industry

Gov. Caleb Mutfwang of Plateau has appointed retired Maj.-Gen. Bala Isandu, as Special Adviser on Security.

This is contained in a statement by Mr Samuel Jatau, the Secretary to the State Government (SSG) on Tuesday in Jos.

Isandu replaced retired Brig.-Gen. Gakji Shipi, who has been redeployed as the Coordinator, Safe School Initiative in the state.

Jatau also said that the governor approved the appointment of Brig.-Gen. Nash Yakubu as the Coordinator of Operation Rainbow, a state-owned security outfit.

The governor congratulated the new appointees and urged them to live above board.

He further urged them to bring their wealth of experience to bear towards tackling the security challenges confronting the state.(NAN).
