The Acting-Inspector General of Police, Usman Alkali Baba, has issued an alert notice to commissioners of police across the country, as terror elements plan to expand their frontiers of attack.
In a correspondence to the Commissioner of Police in the FCT/Plateau State Force Command, the Police IG says intelligence reports at his disposal indicates that Boko Haram Terrorists plan to attack major cities in the country, particularly in Jos, Plateau State, and the FCT, Abuja.
He noted that the plan attack would be coordinated by the duo of Mohammed Sani, a Boko Haram commander domiciled in Sambisa Forest, and his deputy Suleiman who is currently hibernating around LAwan Musa Zango, in Gashua – Yobe state.
The Police IG advices the commissioners to review their security architecture across all critical government infrastructure and police facilities, in order to nip the dastardly plans of the terrorist in the bud.
