Nigerian artist, Naira Marley has taken to his Twitter to declare his interest in singing the national anthem for the proposed new Nigeria called United Africa Republic ( UAR).
This comes as the reports have gone viral that the name Nigeria could be changed to United Africa Republic UAR.
The proposal was reportedly submitted by Adeleye Jokotoye, a tax consultant on Wednesday, June 2, 2021.
Naira Marley who has joined a list of growing Nigerians to react to the proposed change of name has said he would be the new one to sing the National anthem for the new name.
He Wrote, “Omo Na me go sing the new national Anthem for UAR.”
