The Independent National Electoral Commission(INEC)has posponed the 2015 general elections by six weeks. according to the electoral body, this is to enable the different security organisations put in place the neccesary modailities in order to checkmate electoral fraud and violence.
INEC reached the decision to postpone the 2015 General Elections at a stakeholders meeting held today, February 7, in Abuja.
As it is, presidential elections will very likely hold on March 28, 2015.
