At least four former Heads of State will be among the top dignitaries who will make appearance in Edo State tommorrow as Governor Adams Oshiomhole remarries.
General Yakubu Gowon, Ex-President Ibrahim Babangida and General Abdulsalam Abubakar and President-elect, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari are faces likely to be at the marriage ceremony where Edo governor hook up his new bride, Miss Lara Forte.
The marriage registry is to take place in Auchi, Etsako West Local Government Area Council of the state followed by a high profile reception for guest at his Iyamho Country home.
Among other guest expected at the event include National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress, Chief John Odigie Oyegun, Asiwaju Bola
Ahmed Tinubu, Rivers State Governor Rotimi Amaechi, Governor Rauf Aregbesola, of Osun State, Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Fashola ,
Imo State Governor Rochas Okorocha among others.
Already, all hotels in Auchi , Ekpoma, Uromi and other neighbouring towns had been fully booked by guest ahead of (Friday) ceremony.
Oshiomhole bride is said to be an Ethiopian national and a former model and air hostess.
In the wedding invitation sent out to Oshiomhole was quoted have written “While looking forward to the honour of your distinguished presence, I sincerely crave your pardon for the rather short notice.
Please accept the renewed assurances of my highest esteem,”
The Edo State Governor is remarrying five years after losing his first wife, Clara, to cancer in 2010.
