Operatives of the Police Command in Lagos State have arrested a 26-year-old security guard for allegedly stealing 30 litres of diesel.
The command confirmed the arrest in a post it shared on its X handle, @LagosPoliceNG, on Wednesday.
It stated that its operatives arrested the suspect in the Ikoyi area of the state.
“Police officers of Dolphin Division, Ikoyi, arrested the suspect in one of the houses on the estate,” it stated.
“Found in his possession were 30 litres of diesel, which he had stolen from his workplace,” it said.
The command added that the suspect specialised in stealing diesel and selling it to two men, who had also been arrested. (NAN)
