Maiduguri, Borno State capiatl was attacked in the early hours of today, Sunday by militants of the Islamic sect, Boko Haram on Sunday.
As at the time of filing this report, the terrorists are currently battling with the security forces along Maiduguri/Damboa highway.
The battle, which began around 6:00 am, prevented Christians from leaving their homes to worship in churches for fear of attacks.
It will be recalled that over 65 persons were killed last Sunday in a similar attack.
