Chinese Foreign Ministry’s spokesperson, Hua Chunying said on Monday that China and European Union (EU) would hold the 11th high-level strategic dialogue meeting on Tuesday.
Hua said the meeting would hold between Wang Yi, the Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister, and Joseph Borrell, the EU’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy.
According to her, it is necessary for China and the EU to carry out strategic communication to strengthen coordination and cooperation against the backdrop of increasing instability and uncertainty in the world.
“The two sides will exchange views on China-EU ties, dialogue, and cooperation in various fields, international and regional issues,’’ she said.
The spokesperson said the dialogue will also promote the sound and stable development of China-EU ties and jointly address the global challenges.
