Alhaji Mamuda Zarumai, District Head of Kamba, Kebbi State has told poultry farmers and chicken sellers to consider their business as an avenue to serve humanity, not just a livelihood.
Zarumai gave the advice when he received Alhaji Bashar Bala, Chairman, Chicken Sellers Association, Kebbi State chapter and his team in his palace in Kamba, Dandi Local Government Area on Tuesday.
The district head, also Chairman, Poultry Association of Nigeria, Kebbi State chapter commended the efforts of Bala and other farmers at ensuring availability of chickens, especially during festive periods.
He said Bala’s dedication earned him the title of Sarkin Kajin Kabi from the Emir of Argungu, Alhaji Sama’ila Muhammad Mera.
“The title was as a result of your zeal, uprightness and dedication to duty,” Zarumai said.
The district head thanked the delegation for the visit and assured them that his doors would always be opened for advice and suggestions.
Earlier, Bala said the visit was to strengthen the cordial relationship with the district and seek for royal blessing.
He later paid a familiarization visit to chicken sellers in Argungu, Augie, Dandi and Arewa local government areas.
Bala urged the sellers to be patient and always have the fear God in conducting their business. (NAN).
