Oyo state government has disclosed plans to enumerate and register all resident of the state in a bid to improve security of lives and property while also expanding the tax net.
This is as Governor Seyi Makinde also flagged off the payment of the Land Use Charge in the state yesterday, with the payment of the bill on his personal property in the state.
These formed parts of the decisions reached at the State Executive Council meeting held at the Executive Chamber of the Governor’s Office, Agodi Secretariat, Ibadan.
The Oyo State Government has also approved the relocation and establishment of the College of Agriculture and Renewable Natural Resources of the Ladoke Akintola University (LAUTECH) from Ogbomosho to Iseyin.
Other decisions taken at the meeting include the approval of three bills to be forwarded to the State House of Assembly for onward consideration and passage into law.
