PDP wins Edo South Senatorial seat, as APC clears 21 of 24 House of Assembly seats in Edo

The Edo South senatorial elections which was postponed till April 11 in some local governments has been conducted, with Honourable Matthew Urhoghide of the Peoples’ Democratic Party defeating Hon Sampson Osagie in the overall results.  Urhoghide emerged winner after polling 139,784 overall votes as against 117,759  garnered by the APC candidate.
