Men of Department of State Service (DSS) on Monday morning arrested the former National Security Adviser, to President Goodluck Jonathan, Sambo Dasuki a retired colonel.
He is currently been detained at the headquarters of the DSS, in Maitama, Abuja.
Dasuki’s arrest by the operatives of the DSS may not be unconnected with the directives given by President Muhammadu Buhari to arrest and prosecute any individual who was indicted by a presidential committee investigating the procurement of arms in the last decade.
The embattled former NSA in a reaction to his alleged indictment said he was never invited by the panel to state his own case in the alleged arms frauds.
