Ozo is love-struck
Well, on Day 18, he did confess to her that he would like to get to know her better. It’s been 10 days since then and, thinking he had got the hang of it, Ozo made his move on Nengi, telling her why he loves her, finds her attractive. Her reaction: “consider yourself brother-zoned. What part of that did you not understand?” He was dripping all love.
Laycon still lost?
Praise, Brighto and Wathoni all got into a discussion about how Laycon is still fixated on Erica and waits for her to leave the room before he leaves.
Wathoni: Brighto is this true?
Brighto: Yes, na.
Praise: I saw him lost and fixated on her.
Wathoni: So, why didn’t you talk to him about it?
Praise: You want him to tell me ‘I don’t want to talk about it’ (he mimicked Laycon)?
All that freaky talk…and trust Praise to lead it
Praise sure has some of the freakiest stories for days and he tells them quite well. First, he teased Vee that the first time she and Neo ever get intimate, it was going to be fire and brimstone implying a volcanic eruption. Then he had a good time sharing some of the most explicit jokes as told by his favourite comedians. But he wasn’t the only one, the Housemates had a swell time talking about self-pleasure and getting intimate in the House. Prince and Trikytee were pretty adamant that they would never have any form of intimacy in the House and would rather wait it out. There was the talk about bringing self-pleasing devices into the House and when to use them. Laycon suggested risking a fine for not going to the morning workout session and staying back to get a little pleasure in privacy wasn’t such a bad idea. Lucy expressed fear about being caught with a device in the House and maybe that’s why she didn’t bring any.
‘Perfumes make women attracted to you’
Speaking about grooming, Kiddwaya shared a few tips about what it takes to look nice and found attractive by the opposite sex. Top on the list was the use of perfumes. “Perfume is what makes women attracted to you,” he said as he explained that smelling good is a big deal. Nengi approved of this as she reeled out some of her favourite perfumes.
One thing is clear, though: as he edges ever closer to Nengi, he puts his friendship with Dorathy in danger. The result: she wants to be left alone. It really is a sore point between them.
A million bucks in the kitty
The housemates – divided into teams Calabar Carnival, Abuja, Obudu, Ijesha Waterfall – oversaw a successful formulation of commercials for Travelbeta. Teams Calabar Carnival (Vee, Laycon, Brighto, Wathoni) and Abuja (Prince, Nengi, Ozo, Tolanibaj) earned themselves a million naira each for their efforts, but Team Abuja edged the other, as they added an all-expense paid trip to the nation’s capital to their kitty.
‘Bad girl’ vibes
At the party, Kaisha was all freaky and loud. When the party was done, she confessed to her audience (Neo, who benefited from most of the freaky dancing; Trickytee and Brighto) that she is, normally, a “good girl” but could get “bad, bad, very bad”. Even without trying to find out what she meant, they agreed with her. Message carried.
That ‘stupid’ jab moment
On Day 24, Nengi and Kaisha had the hots for themselves over hot water, reportedly. Both ladies nearly came to blows and had to be pulled apart but they made do with unprintable words and ugly slurs.
That Erica-Wathoni moment
Well, Wathoni had been having a few words behind Erica’s back and, soon as she got to hear, she decided to have words with Wathoni. Interestingly, Wathoni avoided her, as Erica confronted her about her constant comments and tactics. Kiddwaya stepped in to console his lady love but that matter is not done with yet. Erica comes across as one who’d need to sort that out. Well, it was all because of The Kidd.One hella triangle they got there.
Who goes home tonight?
Everyone is eligible for the home-run, except the Head of House Erica and Deputy Kidd.
Vote of confidence for HOH
A majority of the housemates passed a vote of confidence on the HoH and her deputy, but Lucy was vocal with her opinion that the HoH has been “changed by power”.
What does Wathoni want?
Well, at the beginning, her ‘spec’ was Eric. She moved her ‘spec’ on to Kiddwaya. Once upon a time, it was Prince. On Day 25, her spec “gan,gan,gan,gan” changed to Neo, because “I want a guy who will make me laugh half the time I am with him”. Meanwhile, Kiddwaya is “still a spec, even though he takes things too seriously”. For her, “it is not about the fineness per se; medium and ugly will be good”.
It is not easy to give this lady what she wants, though. According to Twitter followers, “she will soon make Biggie her spec”. Now, that could happen.
