The Lufthansa Group and Air France have cancelled flights to the Lebanese capital Beirut amid rising fears of an all-out war between Israel and the Iranian-backed Hezbollah movement on Monday.
The Lufthansa Group said in Frankfurt that five outward and return flights have been cancelled up to and including Tuesday.
The flights affected are operated by the main line carrier Lufthansa, as well as subsidiaries Euro wings and SWISS.
Air France, also citing the security situation, said it had suspended service between Paris and Beirut on Monday and Tuesday. (dpa/NAN
