Katsina, Feb. 2, 2026 (NAN) Deputy Senate President, Sen. Barau Jibril, says the endorsement of President Bola Tinubu and Gov. Dikko Radda by the people of Katsina State is a wise political decision.
He stated this on Monday in Katsina at a gathering for the endorsement of Tinubu and Radda for a second term in 2027.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the occasion was organised by the Concerned Katsina APC Stakeholders.
Jibril recalled that when Tinubu came on board, he met so many challenges in the country, adding,  “thesevchallenges were not peculiar to Nigeria, they have global dimension.
“They gave rise to the high costs of commodities. He, however, worked hard in dealing with the problems.
“We should allow him to continue so that by the end of the day, he will turn this country to an Eldorado. This is what he what he wants to do.”
According to him, the president has been doing well, that was why many people were turning to APC.
He also said that he had gone round states in the country and had seen by his own eyes that Radda was among the best Governors in the country.
“He has done so much in the area of health, education, roads and others. He has done very well.
“It is a sound decision to come out and endorse someone who has done well.
“Katsina is known for excellence in politics, traditional institutions, military.
“Today, it has shown that it is in a high political awareness by coming out en masse to endorse Tinubu and Radda,” Jibril said.
Also, the Director, Media and Publicity of Tinubu Radda Assured, Mr Hamza Umar-Saulawa, said the group was convinced of the capacity of  Tinubu and Radda to transform the economy of the country and the state, if given a chance to serve for another term.
Umar-Saulawa particularly commended the infrastructure, youths empowerment and economic development initiatives being implemented under the “Renewed Hope Agenda” of  Tinubu and the “Building Your Future” agenda of Radda.(NAN)
