Ibadan, Feb.10, 2026 (NAN) A 35-year-old driver, Isaiah Ojo on Tuesday, pleaded guilty before an Iyaganku Magistrates’ Court in Ibadan, to stealing his employer’s N34,000.
Ojo was arraigned on a charge of stealing.
Following his guilty plea, the Magistrate, Mrs Olasinmibo Sanusi-Zubair ordered his remand at the Agodi correctional facility, pending review of facts.
The court adjourned the case until Feb.13, for review of facts.
Earlier, the prosecutor, Insp. Olagoke Adegbenro, told the court that the defendant committed the offence on Feb. 6, at about 6.55 p.m, at the Iyaganku area of Ibadan.
He alleged that the defendant stole the money from the bag of his employer, Mr Semiu Oyediran, without his consent.
The offence contravenes the provision of Section 399(9) of the Criminal Law of Oyo State, 2000. (NAN)
