AMAC chair appoints Kingsley Madaki Chief Press Secretary

Mr Christopher Maikalangu, Executive Chairman of the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), has appointed Mr Kingsley Madaki as his new Chief Press Secretary (CPS).

Maikalangu, who announced the appointment in an official letter obtained by the News Agency of Nigeria (NA)N) in Abuja on Wednesday, said Madaki’s appointment takes immediate effect.

He urged the new CPS to bring his wealth of experience to bear and contribute significantly to the progress and development of the area council.

​”It is hoped that you will exhibit a high sense of responsibility, maturity, loyalty, competence, commitment and dedication in the discharge of your duties.

​”While congratulating you on your well-deserved appointment, kindly accept the assurances of my highest regards,” the chairman said.

​NAN reports that before his appointment, Madaki served as the Senior Special Assistant to the chairman on Media and Public Affairs.

Other appointments announced by the council chief include Mr Emmanuel Inyang as Taskforce Chairman, and Mr Bako Kamdu, Deputy Taskforce Chairman.

Also appointed are ​Mr Isyaku Hassan as Deputy Clerk, while Mr Ikibah Sebastian would serve as Legislative Liaison Officer.

Maikalangu had on Tuesday announced the appointment of Mr Emeka Orji as Chief of Staff, and Mr David Danjuma as Principal Private Secretary (PPS). (NAN)
