In a bid to ensure a successful re-election bid, Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has donated a vehicle to the North Central block in the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State. The vehicle was presented to Alhaji Mohammed Sharu Kpatako, the apex leader of the North Central block, at the Lagos House in Marina, Lagos.
Governor Sanwo-Olu said the donation of the vehicle was to assist the North Central block in its door-to-door campaign, reaching every nook and cranny of their communities to canvass for votes for his second term. He expressed confidence in the block’s ability to deliver the needed votes for his victory come March 18th.
Alhaji Mohammed Sharu Kpatako expressed gratitude for the gift and pledged to use the vehicle for massive mobilisation for Governor Sanwo-Olu’s re-election. He also promised the block’s total support for the APC towards winning the election in the state.
Kpatako commended Governor Sanwo-Olu’s achievements in the last four years and called on Lagosians to vote for the Governor’s second term, promising that the North Central block would keep supporting the party beyond the polls. “I have no doubt in my mind that victory is just by the corner. I am giving my words that North Central support will be total till we achieve the desired victory,” he said.
As the elections draw nearer, politicians in Lagos State are making strategic moves to win votes and secure their positions. The donation of a campaign vehicle to the North Central block by Governor Sanwo-Olu is seen as a move to gain more support and ensure victory at the polls.
