ObuaApprehension gripped Abuja yesterday following the rumoured death of Gordon Obuah, the CSO to former president Goodluck Jonathan in DSS detention.

When the news first filtered in through the social media yesterday, many family friends resident in the capital city were depressed and were seen discussing and mourning with the family.

Per Second News gathered on Monday that the health of Obua, who had been in custody since last Thursday at the DSS headquarters, Abuja, might have deteriorated with family sources saying he has been battling with diabetics and hypertension, which might have worsened following his detention and inability to get proper medical care.

Obua’s condition could not be immediately ascertained, but security sources stated that the health of the former CSO had “taken a nosedive.”
