The APC-Democrats of Nigeria has congratulated the re-elected Governor of Ekiti, Biodun Oyebanji, saying his victory reflected the confidence and trust reposed in his leadership by the people of the state.

The group’s Chairman, Mr Moses Owharo, conveyed the congratulatory message in a statement issued on Friday in Abuja.

Owharo also commended the APC Election Committee, led by the Governor of Kaduna State, Uba Sani, with the President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio, serving as co-chairman, for its commitment and strategic coordination during the Ekiti governorship election.

He said the committee’s efforts contributed to the successful outcome of the poll.

Owharo reaffirmed the group’s commitment to supporting the Oyebanji administration.

According to him, the governor has laid a solid foundation for economic growth, infrastructure development, investment promotion, youth empowerment and human capital development in the state.

He said the governor’s renewed mandate reflected his achievements, inclusive style of governance and commitment to delivering the dividends of democracy.

Owharo expressed confidence that the new term would consolidate ongoing development efforts and further position Ekiti as a model of good governance and sustainable development.

He also called on members of the APC, party leaders, stakeholders and support groups to remain united ahead of the forthcoming Osun governorship election, as well as the 2027 National Assembly and Presidential elections.

According to him, sustained grassroots mobilization and unity within the party are essential to strengthening support for the Renewed Hope Agenda and ensuring future electoral success.

He added that a united APC remained well-positioned to advance national development, economic reforms and democratic governance.

The APC-Democrats of Nigeria wished Oyebanji a successful second term in office. (NAN)
