The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) Caretaker Extra-Ordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC) has approved the extension of its membership registration and revalidation in four states.

The exercise will be on in Imo, Kwara, Ogun and Rivers states for another two weeks.

The Committee also told members who have not registered or yet to be revalidated to feel free to buy nomination forms to contest for any of the party’s elective offices in the forthcoming congresses of the party.

The decision for the extension in the affected states was contained in a statement by the CECPC Secretary, Senator John James Akpanudoehede in Abuja.

Akpanudoehede said the extension followed the recommendation of the party’s Membership Registration Appeals Committee.

The party appreciated those who had earlier registered and revalidated their membership ion, across the country.

He called on those wishing to take advantage of the window to do so in line with COVID-19 public health protocols.
