Buhari approves appointment of 12 new Permanent Secretaries

President Mohammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of 12 new Permanent Secretaries in the Federal Civil Service.

Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (HOCSF), Dr. Folasade Yemi-Esan, made this known in a statement signed by director of communications in the HOCSF’s office, Olawunmi Ogunmosunle, in her office in Abuja on Tuesday.
The new permanent secretaries include Akinlade Oluwatoyin (Kogi), Malam Alkali Nura (Kano), Anyanwutaku Ifeoma (Anambra), Ardo Kumo (Gombe), Belgore Lamido (Kwara) and Ekpa Akpabio (Cross River).

Others are Malam Hussaini Babangida (Jigawa), Malam Mahmuda Mamman (Yobe), Meribole Chukwuemeka (Abia), Malam Mohammed Ganda (Sokoto), Tarfa Peter (Adamawa) and Udoh Omokunmi (Oyo).

According to Yemi-Esan, a date for the swearing-in and deployment of the new permanent secretaries will be announced in due course.
