Portuguese football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo and his longtime partner, Georgina Rodríguez, have married in a private ceremony in Cascais, Portugal.
The couple confirmed their marriage on Tuesday through a post on Ronaldo’s Instagram account, featuring photographs. including that their hands with wedding rings.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner captioned the post, “C ❤️ G”, as the couple shared the news with their millions of followers.
The marriage comes nearly a decade after the couple began their relationship and one year after Rodríguez publicly announced their engagement in August 2025.
The private ceremony was held in Cascais, a coastal town near Lisbon, with their five children reportedly in attendance.
Ronaldo, 41, has been recognized as the world’s best player five times and currently plays for Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr, while Rodríguez is a model and businesswoman.
