Chairman emeritus of Daar Communications, High Chief Raymond Dokpesi has been granted bail by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) after being detained for several hours.
Dokpesi after regaining freedom from EFCC said he has been toughened by the ordeals he had passed through while he remained strong in the spirit.
He told newsmen that although he had been granted bail since Wednesday, the absence of his lawyer, Mike Ozekhome delayed his freedom.
He said the EFCC slammed allegations of conspiracy, money laundering and misappropriation of funds on him, contending that he was prepared to defend himself on the allegations.
He said he would return to the EFCC any time he was summoned to answer questions on allegations that he took a largesse of $2.1 billion from former National security Adviser, Col Sambo Dasuki who is also in detention on arms purchase scandal.
