Don’t patronise non-registered loss adjusters – ILAN President warns insurers

Mr Oladipupo Olanrewaju, President of ILAN gave the warning during a courtesy visit by some ILAN Executives to the management of Sovereign Trust Insurance Plc in Lagos.

Olanrewaju said that such quacks are capable of damaging the reputation of the professional loss adjusters.

He noted that erring member companies of the institute would be brought to book, if and when found wanting in the discharge of their duties

According to him, the purpose of the visit was to appreciate the management of Sovereign Trust for its unwavering support and collaboration with the institute, and by extension, member companies of ILAN.

“This visit is geared at further cementing the cordial business relationship between members of the institute and Sovereign Trust Insurance,” he said.

The ILAN president also called for collaboration in the area of training, technology and business patronage.

In his response on behalf of the underwriter, Mr Segun BankoleDGM, Corporate Communications and Investor Relations of Sovereign Trust Insurance, appreciated the association for being a partner in progress.

Bankole assured the loss adjusters of the insurance company’s continuous collaboration, especially in areas of business patronage, while also supporting their activities. (NAN
