Ejike Asiegbu finally returns to Nollywood with a bang

Ejike AsiegbuNollywood actor Ejike Asiegbu, who left the movie industry, and was working with the Abia State Government has returned to acting. The ace-actor debuted his return in a movie titled ‘Agwonma the Unbreakable Egg’, written by Martins Samuel, produced by I Creations, and directed by Chukwuemeka Orjiani (Dr Virus).
It is a movie  centred around a kingdom called Ozha, A snake worshipping people where gods dwelt amongst men. It was a place that lacked nothing, a land of milk and honey, the women were blessed, the men had plenty until calamity struck. The prince committed a sacrilege by killing a snake, simply because a beautiful maiden asked him to, because she wanted the sacred unbreakable egg from the snake goddesses temple, and this egg happened to be guarded by the snake god Chieke, the husband of Agwonma. After the death came calamity.
The new movie starrs Ejike Asiegbu, Francis Duru, Joy Helen, Agbogidi Colonel, Amanda Ebeye, Prince Eke, AMVCA nominee Kelechi Udegbe, Rex Okonzuwa and a host of others.
According to the producers, Agwonma the unbreakable egg would soon be in the cinemas.
Ex-chairman of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Asiegbu, is well-known in Nigeria’s film industry, is a Theatre Arts graduate and was a Special Assistant to the Abia State Governor, Theodore Orji on Entertainment. He traces his acting career to his role in Chinua Achebe’s tragedy Things Fall Apart as a warrior.
