The Euro 2020 is set to get underway today Friday June 11, as Turkey take on Italy later today in the opening game.
UEFA Euro 2020, or simply Euro 2020, is scheduled to be the 16th UEFA European Championship, with 24 European sides raring to compete for the ultimate prize.
In a rare format, the tournament, will be held in 11 cities in 11 UEFA countries at different stages of the competition.
Portugal are the defending champions, having won the 2016 competition.
The video assistant referee (VAR) system will make its debut at the European Championship in this tournament.
