A filmmaker and AI systems designer, Mr. Onu Abraham, has urged entrepreneurs and business owners to build AI systems tailored to their businesses instead of relying on AI as a chatbot.
Abraham said this during an AI Marketing and Content Automation Workshop organized by Go Global Remote Network in collaboration with the American Space in Abuja.
He said businesses could unlock greater value from AI by designing systems around their goals and daily operations.
“The most effective way to use AI is to build systems around your business purpose. AI should understand your business and your goals before carrying out tasks,” he said.
According to him, many businesses interact with AI without providing enough context resulting in outputs that fail to address real business needs.
He explained that AI should function like an employee that understands an organization before being assigned responsibilities.
“The whole point of AI is to solve problems. When you solve problems, you create value, and that’s how businesses grow,” he said.
Abraham further said that businesses could automate content creation, communication and other routine tasks by combining AI with the right tools and workflows.
Also speaking, an AI builder and automation specialist, Miss Mary Mmoh, said storytelling remained one of the most effective ways to educate, engage audiences and build brands.
She said AI had made it easier to transform ideas into visual stories through images, videos, voiceovers and animation.
“People may forget facts, but they remember stories. AI gives us new ways to bring those stories to life,” she said.
Mmoh encouraged creators to tell more African stories, saying the continent’s culture, history and everyday experiences offered rich opportunities for digital content.
She added that compelling stories should contain relatable characters, conflict and resolution to keep audiences engaged.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Go Global Remote Network provides mentorship, training, resources and networking opportunities to help individuals develop digital skills and access global opportunities.
The workshop, organized in collaboration with the American Space, was aimed at equipping participants with practical AI and digital skills.
It also aimed at promoting the adoption of smart business systems, showcasing Nigerian innovation and strengthening collaboration between Nigerian and USA technology professionals. (NAN).
