Federal Government commends Alpha Mead for launching Modular Healthcare Facility

The Federal Government has commended the effort of Alpha Mead Healthcare Management Services for their effort in accelerating access to quality healthcare for Nigerians, through the provision of state-of-the-art Modular Healthcare Facility (MHF).

Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, who expressed his appreciation at the facility launch at the Gbagada General Hospital in Lagos, through the Senior Special Assistant to the President of Nigeria on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire, acknowledged how the Modular Facility being launched will aid the government to meet two of its SDG goals of ensuring healthy lives and promote sustainable industrialization.

The Group Managing Director, Alpha Mead Group, Femi Akintunde, at the official launch of the facility explained that the aim of the project was to aggressively drive the penetration of healthcare facilities in Nigeria, and leverage technology to connect patients with medical doctors anywhere through its telemedicine facilities.

The Modular Healthcare Facility is a movable, prefabricated portacabin with detachable modules equipped with state-of-the-art clinical and diagnostic equipment that is designed to provide quality healthcare services to all Nigerians wherever they are.
