The Nigeria Hunters and Forest Security Service (NHFSS) in Kano on Monday said it received 28 complaints from the public in April.
Abdullahi Al-ameen, the state NHFSS commander, made this known in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Kano on Monday.
He said most of the complaints were on animal theft, phone snatching, rape, kidnapping, women trafficking, among others.
” Out of the 28 complainants, 25 were treated and done with, while three are pending.
“We will continue to nip various criminal activities in the forest in the bud,” he said.
He called for cooperation from members of the public to fight forest crimes.(NAN)
