Governor Bello swears in Kogi Chief Judge

Following the death of former Kogi State Chief Justice Nasir Ajanah on June 29, 2020, the Kogi State governor has sworn-in Justice Henry Olusuyi as the new Chief Judge for the state.

Olasuyi, who has been Chief Judge in acting capacity, was sworn-in in Lokoja on Wednesday in the presence of Deputy Governor Edward Onoja, Speaker of the State House of Assembly Matthew Kolawole and other top government functionaries.

The state governor has also approved the appointment of Bayo Olowosegun as the acting president of the state’s Customary Court of Appeal.

Olowosegun has been acting, following the death on June 22 of the president of the state’s Customary Court of Appeal, Shaibu Atadoga.
