Apart from the efforts so far put in place by both the Taraba state government and the technical committee on Civid-19 to halt the spread of the virus  in the state, the State Primary Health Care Development Agency (TSPHCDA) in collaboration with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), as observed by our correspondent ,are also leaving no stone unturned in their quests to frustrate the virus from gaining access into the state.

This was recently displaced when the duo did not only engaged the services of the leadership of the two major religions led by the state chairmen of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) ,Rev. Jerapi Isaiah  Magaji and that of the Moslem Council of Nigeria (MCN), Alhaji Ahmed Bose, but also went extra miles to as well brought on board  a renounced traditional ruler who also doubles as the chairman  Social Mobilization Strategic Review Committee, the Galadima of Muri, Alhaji Abba Tukur , to fashioned out ways of reaching out to the rural dwellers on how to avoid coming in contact with the virus.
The aforementioned organization who are bent on frustrating Covid-19 from coming close to the state , did not left behind members of the forth estate of the realm as they also took them round the process of making hand sanitizers as well as creating a whatsapp platform  primarily designed to support media coordination and support for the primary health care network in the state .
The moves which have no doubt continued to yield positive results was said to be the major reason why the state have not record single case of the virus which.
More to that commodities which includes hand sanitizers, hand gloves, face masks, plastic robbers were as well doled to local governments across the state by the agencies .
Unlike other state where the people seems to be  finding it too cumbersome to adhered to the social distancing and other preventive measures the reverse was the case in Taraba in following the decisions of the aforementioned organizations to carry along all concerned persons and organizations.
Certain that the fight against the spread of the virus in the state would continued to yield the accepted positive results , the said renounced monarch on his part, vowed never to relent in using his position to educate and sensitize his subjects on the danger of coming in contact with the virus.
True to his word, the monarch, who have not decided to sit down in the confine of his palace, to  asked visitors to his palace to stay away from being infected by the virus has not ceased from making use of any available air times in the local electronic media, to educate and informed Tarabans on the dangers that associated with the disease.
Like the traditional rulers, the leadership of the two major religions who did not hesitate to complied to the state government directives by shutting down all the worship centers believed that by aligning their weights to that of TSPHCDA and the UNICEF,  would go a long way to frustrate the virus from attempting to penetrate the state.
The duo who went as far as taking the messages of both the TSPHCDA and UNICEF on how to stay away from contacting the virus to their adherent across the nooks and crannies of the state, vowed not to relent on their oars pending when the infection is swept under the carpet across the country and the globe at large.
Citing how the leadership of the churches prevailed on their followers to marked the just concluded Palm Sunday and Esther  at home, the church, according to the CAN chairman, would continue to prevail on their members to stay indoors.
Some rural dwellers who agreed that the efforts of the religious leaders and the monarch , have been of benefits to them, as they have not only imbibed the culture of hand washings on a regular bases, but have also discouraged from from hugging and shaking of hands, vowed not to ceased from practicing the preventive methods that have been taught .
The  Executive Secretary of the agency, Alhaji Hassan Aminu Jauro , whom our correspondent also observed have not being going to bed with his two eyes tenaciously closed since the outbreak of the virus, said the agency and the state Ministry of Health are not only concentrating on Coronavirus , but that they are also “mindful of other diseases, among which includes Lassa Fever”
Reiterating the willingness of the agency not to leave any stone unturned in preventing the virus from spreading into the state, the agency, as made known by him would continue to collaborate with UNICEF whom he said has being enhancing and integrates  health facilities delivery to the public in the state.
While urging the people to continued to join hands with the government and the UNICEF to push the virus from entering the state, the agency, he said would not ceased from providing level play ground for partners willing to tread the paths of the UNICEF to herald smiles on the faces of Taraban especially women and children.
With the ongoing collaborating efforts , he believed that Taraba would continued to be reference state to other states in the entire axis of the country
