The Chief Imam of Falomo Central Mosque, Dr. Tajudeen Adebayo, has called for tolerance, forbearance, and patience among the citizenry, especially in the face of the current economic challenges.

He said that acrimony, resentfulness, and impatience would only worsen the situation.
The cleric, who preached religious harmony as a template to quell crises, urged clerics to serve as tension dousers in hard times with their messages.
According to him, preachers should intensify their preaching with patience and hope.
”Tough times do not last forever. In addition, people should be tolerant of one another.
”When people are tensed up, they tend to transfer their aggressions to the nearest fellow, who may also be going through his fair share of the challenge.
“With tolerance, forbearance, and patience, we can all survive this phase together.
“Preachers should also preach to people to think critically about what they can do to contribute their quotas toward solving the common challenges of the nation.
”At most, if they are unable to offer solutions, they should not be part of the problem,” he said.
He prayed for the good of the country and asked God to bestow on the leadership the wisdom to lead the people to a desired state.(NAN)
