LAGOS – Infinix Nigeria has extended a gesture of goodwill by offering its newest device, the Infinix Hot 40, to a Nigerian woman known as #_Debbie_OA. The woman gained attention and faced criticism on social media for revealing that she wakes up at 4.50 am daily to cook for her husband.
In a tweet posted on Saturday via its official handle on X, Infinix Nigeria announced the gesture with a message expressing appreciation for #_Debbie_OA’s current use of their phones. The tweet read, “Hi, #_Debbie_OA, we love that you use one of our phones currently. With that in mind, we would love you to experience the features of our latest device: The Infinix Hot 40. How does that sound?”
In response to the tweet, #_Debbie_OA expressed her gratitude and inquired if the offer was for both her and her husband.
The Nigerian woman had recently gone viral after sharing her story on X, explaining her early morning routine of cooking for her husband, motivated by the revelation that he had been consuming meals prepared by a female colleague at work.
In addition to the smartphone gift from Infinix, Nigerians have shown support by donating money and various items to #_Debbie_OA.
