Italy defeated Spain on penalties to reach the Euro 2020 final after a captivating 1-1 semi-final draw after regulation time at Wembley.
After Alvaro Morata’s penalty was saved, Jorginho strolled up to score and set up a final with either England or Denmark in London on Sunday.
Italy reached their fourth Euros final, their sole triumph coming in 1968, and are now on an incredible run of 33 unbeaten games.
England will now play Denmark in the other semifinal today for a final spot, knowing victory will secure them a place in a major men’s tournament final for the first time since 1966.
