keshi1Stephen Keshi finally on Tuesday signed a contract with the Nigeria Football Federation to coach the Super Eagles. Keshi signed a two-year deal with the NFF. The deal, however, left out Keshi’s former assistant, Daniel Amokachi, who is popularly known as Dan The Bull. In his stead, Salisu Yusuf was appointed to assist Keshi.

Yusuf is the coach of El-Kanemi Warriors of Maiduguri. Former Super Eagles goalkeeper, Ike Shorunmu, retained his position as the goalkeepers trainer.

The signing of the contract between Keshi and the NFF had dragged on for months, raising speculations that the leadership of the football association does not want him.

The Super Eagles had played several matches without a full head coach in charge. Amokachi had overseen the matches in acting capacity.
