A 33-year-old man, Rauf Isaq, on Friday appeared before an Iyaganku Magistrates’ Court Ibadan, over an alleged dangerous driving.
Isaq, whose address was not provided was charged with dangerous driving, to which he pleaded not guilty.
The Prosecutor, Insp. Elisha Tellang said the defendant committed the offence on June 18, at about 10.30 a.m., on the Lagos/Ibadan expressway, Ibadan.
Tellang alleged that the defendant, being a driver in charge of one Toyota Hiace bus, drove it recklessly and dangerously on the highway.
He alleged that the defendant through his reckless driving did not regard other road users on the highway.
He said the offence contravened the provision of Section 18 of the Road Traffic Law of Oyo State, 2016.
The Magistrate, Mrs Oluwaferanmi Raji granted the defendant bail in the sum of N200,000 and two sureties in like sum.
She adjourned the case until July 21, for hearing. (NAN)
