Ibadan, March 5, 2026 (NAN) A 59-year-old man, Odunsi Ayoola, on Thursday appeared before an Iyaganku Magistrates’ Court, Ibadan, over an alleged shop entering and stealing.
Ayoola, whose address was not provided, was charged with shop entering and stealing, to which he pleaded not guilty.
The Prosecutor, Insp Samuel Owolabi, told the court that the defendant committed the offences on Feb.24, at about 11.50 p.m., at Eleyele, Ibadan.
Owolabi alleged that the defendant entered a carpentry workshop, belonging to one Yusuf Bello.
He alleged that the defendant stole an AKT Grader machine and screwdriver worth N120, 000, belonging to Bello.
He said the offences contravened the provisions of Sections 390(9) and 413 of the Criminal laws of Oyo State, 2000.
The Magistrate, Mrs Gladys Olanrewaju, granted the defendant bail in the sum of N100, 000 and two sureties in like sum.
She adjourned the case until April 1, for hearing. (NAN)
