Manisha Yadav, popular actress in Jodha And Akbar dies of brain haemorrhage

Manisha Yadav, an actress with the screen name of Salim Begum in Zee TV show Jodha and Akbar is dead.

She was said to have died of brain haemorrhage according to news reports from IWMBuzz .

Manisha Yadav came into the limelight for her performance in the currently running Zee World series ‘Jodha Akbar’ which has one of the highest TRPs in the recent past. In the series, she played the role of Salima Begum, one of the wives of the Emperor. She had also acted parts from the more popular Jodha. Begum played by Paridhi Sharma and Rukaiya Begum played by Lavina Tandon. As the wife of Akbar, she was considered to be one of the wisest women.

When she was offered this role, she did a lot of research work and utilized her education to bring authenticity to the character portrayed by her. Manisha Yadav has also done item songs in Hindi movie ‘Makad Jaal’ and Marathi film’ Fultoo Dhamal’ which are yet to be released.
