The Mark D Ball organizers of 2022 Basketball Championship, said it would bring Musical Artists to spice up the championship at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja.
The Director of Media, Mark D Ball, Kingsley Aigbonoga, said this to newsmen in Abuja.
He said that Innocent Idibia (2 Face), Joel El, Magnito, Ice Prince, Goya Menor, Rayce and Chuddy K would perform live at the championship.
“The Mark D Ball basketball championship is a complete package as we are mixing sports and entertainment.
”Beyond playing basketball, we are bringing 2 Face, Joel El, Magnito, Ice Prince, Rayce, Goya Menor and Chuddy K among others to spice up the championship with their live performances.
“We are bringing some other special guest celebrities too, certainly Abuja will come alive,” he said.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the Mark D Ball basketball championship will start on Jan. 15, with 16 teams participating.
The teams are, Air Warrior, First bank, Delta Force, Sunshine Angels, Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Novena Queens, Kada Angels, Benue Princess and Plateau Rocks..
Others are : Mountain of Fire, FCT Rocks, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Queens, Taraba Hurricanes, Nasarawa Amazons, Hot Coal Sizzlers and Bayelsa Queens.
NAN reports that the female teams will be competing from Jan.15 to Jan. 22, while the male teams are expected to kick- start Jan. 22 and ends April 23. (NAN)
