BOMBNo less than 50 persons may have been killed this afternoon as different bombs have gone off in different parts of Maiduguri, the Borno State capital.

Three explosions hit the town, a source disclosed, making the attack the most deadly since Boko Haram’s attack on the city in January this year.

According to Quick News Africa source, a tricycle rider with a bomb was said to have made an attempt to enter a fish market on Baga Road, but the explosive went off when the tricyclist was barred from entering the market. The second blast was said to have occurred at Monday Market, while a third was a car bomb explosion close to a bus station close to the Department of State Services office. Emergency workers and hospital sources put the casualty figure at not less than 50 as at the time of filing this report.
