Karshi ( Nasarawa State) Nov. 3, 2025 ( NAN) A member of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Mr Saidu Gude, has assuredĀ his continued determination to initiate more impactful people-oriented projects in his constituency.
Gude, who represents the Uke/Karshi constituency, said this would improve the standard of living of his constituents.
He stated this on Monday while presenting hisĀ letter of defection from the Social Democratic Party (SDP) to the All Progressives CongressĀ (APC), Chairman of his electoral ward, Karshi one in Karu LGA.
According to him, his defection to the APC was due to the giant development strides of Gov. Abdullahi Sule in the State.
āI have joined APC after a series of consultations with my family, friends, relatives and stakeholders; this is because politics is all about the people.
ā By the Grace of God, I will add value to the progress of APC not only in Uke/Karshi constituency but the state at large.
ā I will work together with the stakeholders, other members of the party, others to ensure its victory beyond 2027 in my constituency and the state at large,āĀ he said.
Gude assured his constituency of continued quality representation at the state legislature.
The lawmaker solicited for the support of the party and all and sundry to enable him and Gov. Abdullahi Sule to succeed.
He enjoined his constituents to show love to one another,Ā embrace unity and peace irrespective of their affiliations.
Responding, Ā Mr Musa Abari, the APC ward chairman of Karshi one constituency, appreciated the lawmaker for joining APC.
He assured him of a level playing ground, equal rights and privileges in the party.
