Ms Patience Oniha has been appointed the Director-General, Debt Management Office (DMO) Nigeria. Until her appointment, she was Head, Efficiency Unit in the Federal Ministry of Finance.
Her appointment came as a result of the exit of Dr. Abraham Nwankwo, who just served out two consecutive 5year term as Director General.
Ms. Patience Oniha is a highly experienced Banker and Chartered Accountant, with thirty (30) years experience in financial sector. She had worked with Ecobank Nigeria, Standard Chartered Bank, KPMG and as a Director in the Debt Management Office (DMO).
The Debt Management Office is a Nigerian government agency, saddled with the responsibility of managing Nigeria’s domestic and external debts.
