Nine-time African champions Nigeria lost their opening campaign at the Summer Series Four-Nation Tournament in the United States.
The Super Falcons lost 1-nil to Jamaica’s ‘Reggae Girlz’ at the BBVA Stadium, Houston Texas, in a maiden confrontation between the women’s national teams of both countries.
The Falcons will next play Portugal at the same stadium on Sunday before a match against four-time World Cup winners, the U.S, on June 16 at the Q2 Stadium.
