Reports reaching QNA confirms that the helicopter conveying the Kaduna State Governor, Yakowa and former National Security Adviser, General Owoeye Azazi from the funeral of the father of the Special Adviser to the President, Douglas Oronto this evening crashed into the creeks in Bayelsa State, Nigeria.
Details are still sketchy if there were survivors as the helicopter burst into flames crashing into the creeks. Other attendees at the event are stranded at the venue due to logistics and the security situation of the creeks of the Niger Delta making access by boat a challenge.
