Nigerian lady goes viral after painting moment crowd looted palliatives warehouse in Jos (Photos/Video)

A Nigerian artist has shown a top level of commitment in the execution of an artwork she set out to achieve months ago following the looting of palliative warehouses last year.

The lady skillfully put brush to canvass to recreate the viral moment a crowd went berserk and looted a warehouse filled with COVID-19 palliatives in Jos, Plateau state.

In an Instagram post, the artist identified as jesstake.art, said that it took her eight months of hard work to complete the painting.

The painting, which can be mistaken for the actual photos from the scene of the chaos, shows a crowd atop the warehouse as they made frantic moves to pull sheets off the building in an attempt to gain entry.

She shared the original photo side by side with the recreated painting and wrote; ”Crowd In Jos ••• 8 months in the making, my biggest baby yet. When I saw the reference, there was something about the sunlight reflecting off the roof that captivated me”.
